"I always wondered why medical symbols have snakes as their symbol until one day, I read Numbers 21:9 where whoever that was hurt and injured looked upon the bronze serpent lived. In the Bible, bronze represents judgement and serpent represents the devil. Intriguingly, Yeshua said He must be lifted up like the bronze serpent, speaking of His own crucifixion that was to come. This is the hope we have as an anchor for our soul - that Yeshua would be judged on behalf or our sins, that He will take on the very nature of the serpent (devil), and whoever sees His judgement would take on His righteousness and never perish.
